Oregon Historic District History

Established in the height of the Victorian era, this is the city's oldest neighborhood and was once considered the most fashionable place to live in Dayton. The area is filled with buildings constructed from 1820-1915 and featuring a wide array of architectural styles, including Federal, Greek Revival, Queen Anne, and Italianate. Today, these lovingly restored buildings serve as stunning examples of the architectural trends spanning that period.

First Friday & Urban Nights

If you're looking for a little nighttime excitement, be sure to check out First Friday and Urban Nights in the Oregon Arts District. The area comes alive from 5pm-10pm on the first Friday of each month with an art hop at local galleries, live music and entertainment on the street. The area's special Urban Nights showcases neighborhood restaurants, nightclubs, galleries, and shops with special discounts, live entertainment, and home tours twice a year.
