Situated in the heart of downtown, the school is a private catholic university offering over 70 different undergraduate academic programs ranging from art, journalism and science to business, sports science, education, and engineering. The school also offers a range of graduate programs, a law program and continuing education programs. Established in 1849 as a primary school to just 14 boys, today the school is recognized as a top-tier research university boasting 11,000 undergraduate students.
